Judith B. “Judy” Viera, 68, of Stoneham, died June 12, 2005, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Daniel J. Viera. Born in Medford, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Sanborn) Bertwell. Mrs. Viera was raised and educated in Stoneham. She was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1954 and had been a resident of Stoneham for most of her life. Mrs. Viera was devoted to her home and family. She is survived by two daughters, Beverly DellIsola and her husband, Victor, of Wilmington and Gayle Malone and her husband, Joe, of Tewksbury; four grandchildren, Victor and Daniel DellIsola and Casey and Hayley Malone; two brothers, Ted Bertwell and his wife, Connie, of Lynn and Jim Bertwell and his wife, Jean, of Florida; two sisters, Nancy Burr and her husband, Lenny, of North Carolina and Jeanne Moreira of Stoneham; two sisters-in-law, Lucy Zelandi and her husband, Carl, of Woburn and Bea Wheaton of Wakefield; a brother-in-law, Jack Viera and his wife, Frayda, of Westford; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 15 at 1 p.m. from the Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham. |
