4th Annual SHS Class of '54 Girls' Luncheon

Girls' Luncheon '08

A rainy, rainy, rainy day!
This time, though, it seemed a way
to match a sadness in the air
for classmates we have missed this year.

But outside rain brought inside friends.
And that makes all the difference.
Friends who keep fit, busy, engaged,
listening, sharing, living the day.

A youthfulness not yet gone away,
caused a lively exchange in point-of-view.
Shall Reunion '55 be evening or noon?
Shall it be a Tuesday or Saturday?

We arrived in a shower and left in the rain.
But inside it stayed a beautiful day.
Dottie has said it in just the right way:
We "couldn't have been in a friendlier place."
