OBITUARY OF DONALD L. SIMONS

Published: Manchester Union Leader, Mancheter NH, January 19, 1994

"Donald L. Simons, 57, or 1465 Hooksett Road, died January 18, 1994, in Elliott Hospital, Manchester. Born in Stoneham, MA, he was a resident of Hooksett for the past four years. cMr. simons was educated in Newton, MA, and had atttended Bently college.

He received a bachelor's degree in organizational management from Lesley College in Cambridge, MA. He was employed as a partner inthe accounting firm Deloitr, Haskins & Sells in Manchester prior to his retirement 10 years ago.

He was a member and former director of the Manchester YMCA.

Donald's family includes two sons, Mark Simons of Arizona and Daniel Simons of Dunbarton; his mother, Lorette (LaCroix) Simons of Freemont; a brother, Phillip Simons of Houston, TX; a sister, Phyllis Veit of Derry; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves his companion, Barbara B. (Bevin) Hermann. to 4 land 7 to 9 P.M.

Calling hours at Charles F. Dewhurst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA, are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. The funeral is Saturday at 10:30 A.M. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association; or to the Manchester YMCA, 30 Mechanic Street, Manchester.
