| Those were happy days for us. "The happiest days of my life," Peter told me during a phone conversation a few years ago. He was proud of our three daughters.
Peter also had happy memories of his Stoneham High School days. He drove up in his airbus from North Carolina with his wife Mary for our 2012 class luncheon. His old friends were so welcoming and glad to see him again. I asked him if he was glad he had made the trip. He had tears in his eyes and said, "Being here is a highlight of my life." During the week he was here, he spent three nights at Deahn's, three nights at Lori's, and four nights at Mia's. Bette |
