Ode to Pappou's Lamb

On the hills of Mount Parnassus
there lived a little lamb.
On the hills of Mount Parnassus
They killed a little lamb.

And Pappou ate its head.

He ate the brain. He ate the eyes.
He ate the cheeks and tongue.
All that was left were his pearly whites,
and so we took them home.

We gave him a bath
and scrubbed his teeth
and now little Benedict is ever so sweet.
